From visual ergonomics to the metamorphosis between history and the fluidity of nature, Atelier Nini Andrade Silva designed the architecture and interior design project of the new heart of Lisbon - the Beautique Hotel Figueira, located, as the name suggests, in the Figueira Square, in the historic city centre. 

In a customary direct relationship between the forms of the architectural program and the history of the territorial context in which it is implanted, we developed the aesthetic concept of the Hotel based on the toponymic and urbanistic origin of the Figueira Square, which once housed a market properly escorted by leafy fig trees. Rethinking the interior and advancing with new solutions, we created a concept inspired by a fig tree, revitalizing the interpretation of the building itself in an inventive and geometrically surprising way.
